MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – WKU Women's Tennis seniors Sofia Blanco and Rachel Hermanova concluded play in the ITA Division I Women's Ohio Valley Regional Championship on Saturday at the Adams Tennis Complex.
After claiming a doubles victory in the first round Friday, the Lady Topper duo picked up another doubles win against Murray State to advance in the bracket, before falling in a close match against East Tennessee State to narrowly miss a trip to the tournament quarterfinals. Hermanova claimed a win in singles consolation play on Saturday, while Blanco fell in her singles consolation match.
