DALLAS – Lady Topper Golf freshman Averi Cline was named WKU's Conference USA Spirit of Service recipient for the spring season.
The award recognizes a student-athlete from each member institution for their community service efforts, academic standing and participation in their sport.
Cline completed over 100 hours of community service during the 2022-23 academic year, earning WKU's Female Community Outreach Award at the annual TOPSY Awards.
The Suwanee, Ga., native volunteered with over 20 different events/organizations through her first year on The Hill. Cline dedicated a significant amount of time to the Curbside Ministry in Bowling Green, serving under-represented minority and impoverished children.
Cline competed in 10 tournaments for WKU including the C-USA Championship where she tied for 27th. She logged a season-high best finish at the Spring Break Shootout and averaged 77.2 shots per round on the year.
