Murfreesboro, Tenn. — WKU Tennis continues the 2023 season and C-USA campaign with a visit to Middle Tennessee on Friday, March 31. Play will begin at 4 p.m. CT from the Adams Tennis Complex.
"Anytime these two schools play it's a knock down, drag out match," said head coach Greg Davis. "Middle has played extremely well at home this year and we know it will be a very competitive match."
This past Wednesday, the Lady Toppers defeated Alabama A&M 7-0 for their fourth consecutive sweep. With the win, WKU improves to 14-7 on the year while holding a 1-1 record in C-USA.
WKU is 13-27 all-time against the Blue Raiders, winning the last match, 4-3, back on April 9, 2022. This will mark the 24th time the two have squared off in Murfreesboro.
Middle Tennessee is 9-7 on the year and most recently defeated Alabama A&M 6-1 on March 26. The Blue Raiders are a perfect 6-0 at home entering Friday afternoon's match.
