BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — WKU Tennis continues the 2023 season by returning home for a midweek matchup against the Alabama A&M Bulldogs on Wednesday, March 29. Doubles play will begin at 1 p.m. CT.
"Alabama A&M has been picked along with a couple of other schools in the SWAC to win the conference," said head coach Greg Davis. "They have a very deep team. I know in the past we have lost matches to them in the top and lower positions so this isn't a team we will take lightly.
Last week, the Lady Toppers defeated North Alabama 4-0 for their third consecutive sweep. With the win, WKU improves to 13-7 on the year while holding a 1-1 record in C-USA.
WKU is 9-1 all-time against Alabama A&M including a seven-game winning streak dating back to March of 2008. Wednesday's match will mark the first time the Lady Toppers will play host to the Bulldogs.
Alabama A&M is 6-12 in 2023 thus far and is coming off a 6-1 loss against MTSU.
