About the Lady Toppers
- WKU is in sole possession of second place in the Conference USA standings with a 9-3 conference record. UTEP is behind the Lady Toppers at 7-4. Middle Tennessee is in first place with an 11-1 record.
- The Lady Toppers defeated UTSA on Thursday in San Antonio. Alexis Mead led the Lady Toppers in scoring with 19 points. Jaylin Foster added 12 points and Karris Allen had 10.
- Freshman guard Acacia Hayes was named C-USA Freshman of the Week on Monday for the second time this season. She averaged double digits for the week with two 10-point performances.
- So far this season, WKU has had eight different leading scorers. That includes eight different leaders during the nine games of C-USA play. Mya Meredith and Hope Sivori have led the team the most, topping the scoring column in four games each.
- Hayes is WKU's leading scorer, averaging 10.2 points per game. The freshman is the Lady Toppers' leading shot maker (minimum of 100 attempts), making 45.7 percent of her shots from the field.
- Jaylin Foster is WKU's leading rebounder (6.0 rebounds per game) and steals leader (50 total). Foster's 2.38 steals per game are the third highest in C-USA.
- Alexis Mead is leading the team in assists earned with 62 on the season.
- The team is averaging 12.5 steals per game which leads C-USA and is sixth in the nation.
- WKU is averaging 8.3 made 3-pointers per game, which ranks second in the league and 25th in the country.
- The Lady Toppers are pulling down 14.1 offensive rebounds per game which is second in C-USA and 37th nationally.
- WKU is forcing teams into 21.14 turnovers per game which is the most in the league and the 18th in the country. The Lady Toppers' 4.95 turnover margin compared to their opponents is the second highest in C-USA and 25th nationally.

- Four UTEP players are averaging double digit points. Mahri Petree is leading the team, averaging 14.5 points per game. N'Yah Boyd is second, putting up 12.3 points. Jazion Jackson is averaging 12.0 and Elina Arike is scoring 10.7 points per game.
