BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — WKU men's basketball returns to road action this week and will travel to Buffalo, N.Y. for a meeting with Buffalo on Saturday, Dec. 9 at 1 p.m. CT. The Hilltoppers enter the matchup against the Bulls standing at 6-3 on the season after posting a 79-69 victory over Eastern Kentucky on Sunday.

The 2023-24 Campaign
WKU improved to 6-3 for the 2023-24 season after securing a victory over historic rival EKU at E.A. Diddle Arena on Dec. 3. The win marked the Hilltoppers' 117th victory facing the Colonels and moves the all-time series record to 117-44 in WKU's favor.
The Tops' now holds a 60-15 advantage over EKU in games played at home, and a 48-27 advantage on the road in Richmond. The series against the Colonels serves as Hilltopper Basketball's most-played series in the program's history.
The Hilltoppers gear up for a two-week stretch on the road with meetings against Buffalo on Saturday, followed by Wright State in Dayton, Ohio on Tuesday, Dec. 12.
Series History vs. Buffalo
WKU fell to Buffalo, 67-77, on Dec. 8, 2021 hosting the Bulls at Diddle Arena. Saturday will mark just the second all-time meeting with Buffalo in Hilltopper Basketball program history, and the first time traveling to face the Bulls on the road.
