BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU Cross Country is preparing to host the 2023 CUSA Championships on Saturday, Oct. 28.
The meet will take place at Hobson Grove Park. The meet marks the second time this season the Hilltoppers have hosted a meet at the park.
The men's squad will open the meet with the 8K beginning at 9:00 a.m. CT, followed by the women's 6K at 10:00 a.m. CT. Awards for the conference championships will take place immediately after the conclusion of the women's race.

Last time out, WKU competed in the Angel Mounds Invitational. Once again freshmen led the way for The Red and White. Five Hilltoppers finished in the top 100 in the women's race with multiple just outside.Â
Jared Sandfoss led the men with a time of 26:47. Kinley Kunkel once again led the women in the 6K race with a time of 23:05.  Sophomore Rowan Wilkinson beat his previous personal best in the 8K by 21 seconds, finishing in 27:44, good enough for second best team finish in the men's race.
