WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Hilltopper Golf concluded the Purdue Fall Classic Tuesday afternoon. The Tops finished 12th on the leaderboard in an extremely competitive field, including seven nationally ranked opponents.
Continuing his steady play from yesterday, Connery Meyer led the Tops throughout the tournament, positioning himself in the top-25 after tying for 25th.
Luke Fuller ended his tournament run tying for 39th after a 3-over 74 final round, including three birdies. Fuller climbed up the board two spots after his strong final round.
Tying for 56th on the leaderboard was Stephen Warren. Warren continued to show resilience throughout his final round, shaving three strokes off of his score after being 4-over at one point in the round.
Hilltopper redshirt junior Nic Hofman wrapped up his tournament tying for 63rd. Hofman scored even through his first four holes in his final round and finished his day with a 3-over 74.
Aaron Pha had an improvement for the Hilltoppers as well, finishing 83rd on the leaderboard. Pha was able to cut two strokes off of his initial 8-over score from round two. Pha finished his tournament with an overall score of 35-over 248.
The Tops will conclude their Fall season in Cincinnati, Ohio as they compete in the Xavier invitational from October 16th-17th.
