WKU Notes
- WKU clinched the No. 7 seed with a 1-0 victory against Charlotte last Friday on Senior Night at the WKU Soccer Complex. The match was a tie until the 86th minute when Lyric Schmidt launched a long-range shot that stretched over the 49er goalkeeper and into the back of the net.
- WKU has scored 14 total goals this season, coming from 11 different goal scorers. Kayla Meyer leads the team with three and Lily Rummo has two on the season. Katie Erwin, Brooke Sleeva, Anna Isger, Avery Christopher, Kendall King, Aspen Seaich, Kenlee Newcom, Abby Davis and Schmidt have all also found the back of the net. Erwin leads the team with four assists on the season while Meyer, Rummo, Seaich, Ansley Cate, Olivia Kucharyski, Annah Hopkins and Emily Speidel each have one.
