BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Kicking off homecoming weekend on The Hill, the No. 22 WKU Volleyball team is hosting the Blazers of UAB and Lady Techsters of Louisiana Tech Friday and Saturday evening inside Diddle Arena. First serve on Friday is set for 6 p.m. CT, while the contest on Saturday is set for 6:30 p.m. CT, following the Hilltopper football game.Â
WKU is excited to host the annual Hope4Harlie Night supporting our special teammate, #6 Harlie Bryant. Fans are encouraged to wear her favorite color, pink, support the online auction featuring authentic WKU gear from current programs, and make a donation throughout the match to benefit the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation and Harlie's Friends.
Saturday night will be alumni night as we celebrate the women who wore the Red and White since 1981. We will recognize the volleyball alumni in between the second and third sets in Diddle Arena, admission is free to those with their football ticket from the game prior or those wearing Halloween costumes in honor of the holiday.
Due to scheduling conflicts with numerous events on The Hill this weekend, there will be no live stream via HSSN on Facebook.
As is the case for every Hilltopper match this season, all the action will also be available on the radio with Brad Klein on the play-by-play call. Friday night is scheduled to be broadcasted on 98.3 The Edge, and Saturday evening's contest will be on ESPN Radio 102.7.
WKU Volleyball's 53-match conference winning streak is the longest of the sort in NCAA Division I. After Louisville suffered a five-set loss to Pitt on Sunday, only Creighton (23) and Florida A&M (21) are the only other programs with at least a 20-match conference winning streak.
The Tops have claimed the No. 22 spot in this week's AVCA rankings. A split weekend the road and back inside Diddle, the Hilltoppers swept both Charlotte and Middle Tennessee, accumulating a .406 team hitting clip and fifth-year Lauren Matthews notching 23 kills against MTSU -- a season-high.
After WKU swept the Blazers in Birmingham back in September to the start of conference action, UAB has recorded a 5-4 season in C-USA play and picked up W's in the last two contests against Middle Tennessee and FAU.Â
Owning a 3-6 conference record in seventh place in the league, LA Tech comes to Bowling Green for the first time since 2019. The Lady Techsters are coming off of a five-set win over North Texas in Ruston on Sunday, and plan a trip to Murfreesboro at Middle Tennessee Friday evening before seeing WKU.
PARKING
Fans can park in Parking Structure 2 (located between the football stadium and E.A. Diddle Arena) and enter through the Gate 2 entrance for Friday night's match. Due to football parking Saturday afternoon, fans attending volleyball on Saturday will have to park in Parking Structure 1 (just north of E.A. Diddle Arena) and enter through the Gate 2 entrance. Fans are strongly encouraged to come early to make time for parking accessibility.Â

All-session passes for the 2022 Conference USA Volleyball Tournament are now on sale. Passes and single-match tickets are available at WKUTickets.com, by calling 1-800-5-BIGRED or by coming to the WKU Ticket Office during regular business hours.

Purchasing single-match tickets in advance online are $4 for adults, $3 for youth. Tickets at the door on game day, adults are $6 and youth are $3.
TOP STORYLINES
- These will be the 24th and 22nd all-time meeting between WKU and UAB and WKU and LA Tech. WKU leads the UAB series, 20-3, while topping the Lady Techsters 14-7 all-time.
- The Tops have won 53Â straight regular season Conference USA matches with their last loss dating back to October of 2018.
- WKU has held teams to an average of just .173 hitting clip. UAB is averaging .171 over the net this season, while LA Tech has posted a .221 hitting clip.Â
- WKU has been predicted to win the conference title in the Conference USA Preseason Poll voted by the league's coaches. Paige Briggs, Katie Isenbarger, and Lauren Matthews were all selected to the Preseason All-Conference Team. Matthews was tabbed Preseason Player of the Year. After meeting in last year's tournament championship, Rice was predicted to finish second.
- Lauren Matthews has taken the reigns, averaging 4.6 kills per set this season, totaling 306 and is in currently fourth all-time as a Hilltopper in career kills with 1,721.
- Sophomore Katie Howard has led WKU in the last three matches in service aces. The Bowling Green native picked up a career-high seven aces at UTEP, picking up nine more across Charlotte and MTSU for being the team season leader at 36.
- Friday and Sunday's matches will be the 12th and 13th home matches of the season for the Tops, in which they are 9-2.
- WKU Volleyball is more accessible than ever with radio broadcasts for every match. The Tops are 1 of just 10 Division I Volleyball programs that currently have live radio for home and away matches.
