BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — WKU Baseball head coach John Pawlowski and staff have announced upcoming Topper Select Camps to be hosted on Sunday, Jan. 16.
The staff will hold two separate camps, with one camp focused on hitting and the other concentrated on pitching, catching and defense.
The Topper Select Hitting Camp will begin at 8 a.m. CT, with campers receiving instruction from WKU staff while focusing on swing and bunting mechanics, along with learning drills and techniques used by WKU hitters.
The Topper Select Pitcher-Catcher-Defense Camp will start at 2 p.m. CT, with campers receiving individual and group coaching from the WKU staff while focusing on individualized instruction, proper mechanics, live bullpens and learning the WKU defensive philosophy.
Each session serves as its own separate camp, with a cost of $95 per player for the Topper Select Hitting Camp and $75 per player for the Topper Select Pitcher-Catcher-Defense Camp. If you would like to sign up for both camps, the cost is $150 per player. Unless the camp is canceled by WKU, there are no refunds.
Registration is limited to 100 participants for each session and is open to any and all entrants on a first-come, first-served basis.
Each camper must bring their own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, helmet, hat, running shoes or turf shoes and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear. No metal cleats, only turf shoes are allowed.
