BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU Cross Country will head to Nashville, Tenn., on Friday, Sept. 17 to compete in the Commodore Classic.
The meet will be hosted by Vanderbilt University and held at Percy Warner Park.
The men's squad will open the meet with an 8K beginning at 8:30 a.m. CT, followed by the women's 5K at 9:15 a.m. CT.
Both the men's and women's meets will consist of a 13-school field, including three Power 5 opponents on each side.
The men will face off against five teams ranked within the top 10 in their respective regions in Middle Tennessee (4th – South Region), Missouri (5th – Midwest Region), Belmont (8th – South Region), Kentucky (8th – Southeast Region) and Central Arkansas (10th – South Central Region).
The women will compete against four schools ranked within the top 10 in their region in Kentucky (4th – Southeast Region), Middle Tennessee (6th – South Region), Missouri (7th – Midwest Region) and Vanderbilt (7th – South Region).
Following the Commodore Classic, the Hilltoppers' next meet will be on Saturday, Oct. 2 when they head to Louisville, KY. for the Live in Lou Classic.
