Match Notes
Both teams have had previous preseason exhibitions coming into the match. Bellarmine traveled to Butler on Thursday. WKU took on UT Martin on the road on Saturday, Aug. 7 and came away with a 1-0 win behind a goal from Lily Rummo and a shutout performance from the Lady Topper goalkeepers.
WKU and Bellarmine squared off last spring in an exhibition in Louisville and the match ended in a 0-0 tie.
The Lady Toppers will officially start the season on Thursday, Aug. 19 against Austin Peay at the WKU Soccer Complex.
