BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU Cross Country is set to close out its regular season when it heads to Hoover, Ala., for the Blazer Classic on Saturday, Oct. 16.
 
The meet will be hosted by fellow Conference USA school UAB and held at Veterans Park.
 
The women's squad will open the meet with a 6k beginning at 8:30 a.m. CT, followed by the men's 8k at 9:15 a.m. CT.
 
The women will face off against 19 other schools, including two squads ranked within the top 10 in their respective regions in Vanderbilt (6th – South Region) and Lipscomb (8th – South Region).
 
The men will compete against 18 other programs, including two top-10 regionally ranked teams in Lipscomb (7th – South Region) and Belmont (8th – South Region).
 
Following the Blazer Classic, the Hilltoppers' next meet will be on Saturday, Oct. 30 when they head to Charlotte, N.C., for the C-USA Championships.
