BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Lady Topper Tennis is set for its only doubleheader of the season as WKU will officially close its home season against the Ole Miss Rebels on Saturday. The first contest will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the WKU Tennis Complex followed by a second match at 1:30 p.m.
Ole Miss (9-8, 4-5 SEC) has recorded two wins and four losses on the road this season. The Rebels are scheduled to face No. 26 Kentucky prior to playing the Red and White. WKU and Ole Miss have never faced one another prior to these two matches.
WKU (3-13, 0-3 Conference USA) last played against Charlotte in Murfreesboro, Tenn., on March 24. The Lady Tops fell to the 49ers 4-0 in the neutral site competition. WKU's last victory came on March 10 when the Red and White traveled to Dayton and defeated the Flyers 5-2.
Following Saturday's doubleheader at the WKU Tennis Complex on WKU's South Campus, the Lady Toppers will play at Middle Tennessee on Friday, April 12 in their last regular season contest of 2019.
