BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU is set to play Wright State and Dayton on their home courts in Dayton, Ohio, this weekend. The Lady Toppers will compete against Wright State on Saturday beginning at 5 p.m. CT followed by a morning matchup at Dayton starting at 10 a.m. CT on Sunday.
Wright State (7-7) is entering the weekend on a four-win streak. The Raiders hold a 4-2 record on their home court, including wins over Chicago State, Saint Francis, IU Southeast and St. Louis.
WKU has only competed against Wright State one other time when the Lady Toppers defeated the Raiders 6-1 in Richmond, Ky. on Feb. 15, 2003.
Dayton (3-7) has won two matches on its turf this season with victories over Saint Francis and Saint Joseph's. The Flyers will play at Bowling Green before taking on the Lady Toppers at home. This will be WKU and Dayton's first ever meeting.
The Lady Toppers are coming off their first two wins of the season. WKU (2-10, 0-2 Conference USA) defeated Tennessee State 4-3 and Arkansas-Pine Bluff 7-0 in Nashville, Tenn., just a week ago.
