BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Lady Topper Tennis is set to host North Alabama for its final home match of the season. The first serve will be at 2 p.m. CT at the WKU Tennis Complex on WKU's South Campus.
North Alabama (3-7) has a common past opponent with WKU in Conference USA member UAB. The Lions fell to the Blazers 4-3 on March 10. North Alabama holds a 2-6 record away from home.
WKU and North Alabama are tied in the all-time series between the two teams at six victories apiece. The series dates back to 2005 but the two teams have not met since April 13, 2014 in Bowling Green when WKU defeated North Alabama 6-1. The Red and White have won the last four meetings with the Lions.
The Lady Toppers enter this weekend coming off a win at Dayton, having won three of their last four matches. WKU (3-11, 0-2 C-USA) has three matches left on the schedule, including North Alabama, before concluding its season at the Conference USA Women's Tennis Championships in Houston, Texas.
