BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU Tennis is scheduled for a weekend trip to Nashville, Tenn., as the Lady Toppers take on Tennessee State and Arkansas-Pine Bluff. WKU will play the Tigers on Friday at noon followed by a match-up against the Golden Lions on Saturday at 5 p.m.
Tennessee State (4-2) holds a 2-2 record at home in the 2019 season. The series between WKU and TSU dates back to 1987 and the Lady Tops lead the series 26-1. WKU's only loss to the Tigers came on March 27, 2000 when the Red and White fell 7-2 in Bowling Green.
Arkansas-Pine Bluff (1-5) is 1-2 this season on neutral courts. UAPB's sole win on the season was in its latest match-up against Mississippi Valley State where the Golden Lions swept the Delta Devils 5-0. The Lady Toppers and Golden Lions have never met before.
WKU (0-10, 0-2 Conference USA) will play in the Music City this weekend at Hadley Park.
