Lady Toppers Close Out 3-Game Homestand Against Little Rock Sunday

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — The WKU women's basketball team will conclude a three-game homestand on Sunday against Little Rock. The game is set to tipoff at 2 p.m. in E.A. Diddle Arena.

The Lady Toppers (3-1, 0-0 C-USA) have won three-straight games coming into Sunday's tilt, starting the season 3-1 for the first time since the 2015-16 season. The latest two wins for WKU came by 30-plus point margins, the first time the Lady Toppers have recorded back-to-back 30-point wins since the 2014-15 season.

Little Rock (1-4, 0-0 Sun Belt) has had a tough start to the season, but has faced challenging opposition with games against No. 6/7 Texas A&M, Rice and LSU to open the season. The Trojans are currently 0-2 against Conference USA teams this season after losses to Rice and Florida Atlantic most recently.

WKU and Little Rock have met 30 times in series history with most of those games coming during WKU's stint in the Sun Belt Conference. The Lady Toppers are 23-7 against the Trojans all-time and own a 10-2 record in Bowling Green.

WKU has won two straight against Little Rock, including last season's 68-56 win in Little Rock. Raneem Elgedawy had 17 points and 21 rebounds in that game and Dee Givens had 22 points.

In the Lady Toppers' last outing, Dee Givens led the way in scoring for the second consecutive game with 21 points. Raneem Elgedaway had her second double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Whitney Creech reached double-figure scoring for the fifth-straight game with 18 points. Sherry Porter had 17 points in the win.
