BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — WKU soccer will close out a program record seven-match homestand on Sunday against Old Dominion at WKU Soccer Complex. Fans looking for entertainment were not disappointed in the six matches leading up to Sunday with three wins and seven total overtime periods.

Following Sunday's match, WKU will have one remaining home game left in the 2019 season.

The Lady Toppers (6-3-1, 2-1 C-USA) will be looking to bounce back after a 3-2 overtime loss to Charlotte on Thursday. The loss snapped a four-match winning streak for WKU and marked the first loss in conference play for the Lady Tops. It was the sixth overtime match of the season for WKU and the third straight.

WKU's top two goal scorers in 2019 both found the back of the net against the 49ers on Thursday. Ambere Barnett put the Lady Toppers on the board first and Ashley Leonard added another goal in the second half on a penalty kick. Leonard leads the team with six and Barnett is right behind her with five.

Both the Lady Toppers and Old Dominion (6-3-2, 0-3 C-USA) are two of the top offensive teams in the league. WKU is averaging 2.30 goals per match this season, which ranks second in Conference USA. Right below them, tied for third, the Monarchs are averaging 2.18 goals. On the defensive side, the Lady Tops are giving up only 0.82 goals per contest, the fourth lowest average in the conference. Old Dominion is averaging 1.19 goals allowed this season.

Earlier this week, the Lady Toppers cracked the top 100 on the NCAA RPI rankings, coming in at No. 84. That's the third highest ranking by a C-USA team currently with Florida Atlantic at No. 19 and North Texas at No. 70.

Anne-Marie Ulliac has started in all 10 matches for WKU this season. Her 0.86 goals against average ranks fifth among C-USA goalkeepers and third among league keepers playing in 10-or-more matches.

Amanda Nhek leads the Monarchs in goals this season with eight total and Kyra Ricks has added five. ODU has used three different goalkeepers this season with Jasmine Crowley and Kasey Perry splitting most of the matches.

Old Dominion will also be coming off of an overtime C-USA loss. The Monarchs fell to Marshall on Thursday night in double overtime, 3-2.
