BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU Volleyball took its success to the Sunshine State last weekend and ended two of the nation's longest home winning streaks in its wins at Florida Atlantic (3-1) and FIU (3-0). Since then, the Lady Toppers have made their debut in the AVCA top-25 ranks, coming in at No. 24 ahead of this weekend's trip to Murfreesboro, Tenn., and the Red and White's return to Diddle Arena.

WKU's 19-1 record secured the best start in program history. Nineteen wins is the most across the NCAA to date and with one more win, the Lady Toppers with secure the program's 20th-straight 20-win season.
Since the Blue Raiders came to Diddle Arena, Middle Tennessee has gone 1-2 in Conference USA play, with a big five-set win over Marshall in its last match. WKU will travel to Murfreesboro, Tenn., with the chance to secure a sweep of the Blue Raiders in the 2019 home-and-home series. Entering the match, WKU leads the all-time meetings record 48-16.
Sitting at 5-1 in C-USA play, UTSA ranks third behind just WKU and Rice (5-0) - the lone undefeated teams - in conference standings. With an overall record of 12-7, the Roadrunners own an RPI of 64, the third best in C-USA. UTSA will travel to Southern Miss on Friday night before making it to Bowling Green on Sunday. The Hilltoppers own the advantage in head-to-head matchups at 6-1, with the only loss coming back in 2014. The match is set to start at noon on Sunday.
The Tops have collected a total of 11 C-USA Player of the Week awards, standing as the sole team to win an award every week, as well as the only team to win at least one of each award. Five different student-athletes have accounted for the 11 accolades with Lauren Matthews earning recognition as Offensive Player of the Week and Logan Kael being selected as the Defensive Player of the Week most recently.
In the second RPI of the 2019 campaign, WKU remained at No. 30 and already owns 10 wins over teams in the top 100.
WKU's road trip on Friday will mark its third-straight match on the road before returning to The Hill on Sunday to host UTSA, another top-100 RPI team. The Lady Toppers own a perfect 11-0 record in matches played on The Hill this season. WKU is one of just 30 teams across the country that own an unblemished record on its home court in 2019.
