Â

• WKU took its three conference losses by a combined five points and held a lead of at least 15 points in each of those outings. The Hilltoppers had consecutive one-point losses for the first time since 1929-30.
• WKU is one of the youngest teams in the country, ranking 332nd of 353 in experience, per Ken Pomeroy.
• The Hilltoppers have made a 3-pointer in 996 straight games dating back to March 15, 1987. Only UNLV (1,039), Vanderbilt (1,031) and Duke (1,021) had longer streaks to start the year.
• The Hilltoppers have shot 99 more free throws than their opponents this year and made nearly as many free throws as their opponents have even attempted, a calling card of the program.
• WKU ranks 11th in the country in total blocks and 15th in blocked shots per game, and 16th in percentage of opponents' shots blocked, according to Ken Pomeroy. Its average of 5.2 blocks per game would be its highest on record. Charles Bassey ranks second in C-USA in blocks per game (2.4).
• WKU freshman center Charles Bassey has more blocks himself (47) this year than 68 Division I teams.
• As of Friday, Charles Bassey was tied for second in the nation among freshmen in total blocks (47), ranked third in field-goal percentage (63.5 percent) and second for total rebounds (195).

• Charles Bassey has grabbed 17 rebounds in back-to-back games. He's one of just 12 players nationally this season – and 1 of 3 freshmen in the country – with multiple games of at least 17 rebounds.
• After scoring 13-plus points just five times overall in his first 33 college games, sophomore guard Josh Anderson has scored at least 13 points in eight of the last 10 games for WKU.
