BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU is set to face off against No. 38 Tennessee for just the third time in program history and the first time since 2015. The match will begin at 4 p.m. CT on Saturday in Knoxville, Tenn.
No. 38 Tennessee is 13-7 on the year and holds a 5-2 record on its home court. The Lady Volunteers have defeated ETSU, Indiana and Lipscomb this year, all common opponents between the two programs. Tennessee most recently fell to SEC opponents No. 2 Vanderbilt and No. 20 Kentucky on the road.
WKU is 2-1 in the Volunteer State this season as well as 6-4 on the road. The Lady Toppers are coming off a big win at Cincinnati and a tough road loss to C-USA rival Middle Tennessee. WKU (8-4, 2-1 C-USA) is led by freshman Moka Ito who holds a 10-1 record on the season.
