BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Lady Topper Tennis will look to continue its recent success on the road as it travels to Bloomington, Ind., on Saturday to face the Indiana Hoosiers. Play will begin at 3:00 p.m. CT.
Indiana has started the season strong with a 10-3 overall record and an 8-1 record on its home court at the IU Tennis Center. The Hoosiers' No. 1 singles player holds a record of 9-1 while their leading doubles pair is 8-1.
WKU enters the dual match with a 4-2 mark including road wins over Lipscomb, Ball State and ETSU. Freshman Moka Ito paves the way for the Lady Toppers with a 5-1 record on the spring season. Her and doubles partner sophomore Monica Malinen are an undefeated 3-0 in the doubles category.
The Lady Toppers fell 4-2 to the Hoosiers last year in the only match between the two programs.
