BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU will travel to DeLand, Fla. this week to take on in state rival EKU in a neutral site match as well as Stetson on its home court. The Lady Toppers will face the Colonels of EKU on Tuesday followed by the host Hatters on Wednesday.
EKU (4-7) has four previous opponents in common with WKU, defeating Miami (OH) while falling to Indiana, Louisville and UAB. The Colonels' singles leader, Laura Argente has earned OVC Player of the Week twice already this season. The Lady Toppers will face off against the Colonels beginning at noon on Tuesday.
Stetson has an overall record of 7-3 this season including a 5-2 edge at home. The Hatters have played two Conference USA teams this year, Florida Atlantic and LA Tech. The match on Wednesday will begin at 9:00 am CT and live stats can be followed here.
The Lady Toppers enter the weekend with a record of 5-3 consisting of four away wins and one neutral site win. WKU's latest match resulted in a 4-1 victory over conference opponent UAB.
