BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Picking up two key Conference USA wins on the road last weekend, the Lady Toppers will look to carry that momentum into Friday night's home tilt against UAB. First serve against the Blazers (10-9; 2-3 C-USA) is slated for 6 p.m. CT. WKU enters its lone contest of the week with a 14-6 record and a 5-1 mark in league matches.
There will not be a video stream for the Friday night match.
MATCH INFORMATION:
Fri., Oct. 12 – vs. UAB – 6 p.m. CT | Livestats
ADMISSION:
Single match tickets for the contest will be $5 for adults and $3 for youth (12 and under). Fans can also opt for a season ticket package with 15 general admission tickets with the Flexible Ticket Package that can be used to attend the home games of his or her choice.
PARKING:
There will be free parking available in Parking Structure 2.
LOOKING AT THE BLAZERS:
UAB enters the weekend with a 10-9 reading on the season which includes a 2-3 mark in league matches. Most recently, the Blazers hosted UTEP and UTSA, splitting four-set decisions to the C-USA foes with a win over UTEP and loss to the Roadrunners.
WKU and UAB have just one common opponent on the campaign coming against Marshall. Last weekend the Lady Toppers traveled to Huntington and knocked off the Thundering Herd in four sets while UAB hosted Marshall and won with a sweep.
The Blazers return 12 of their 16 letterwinners from an 11-19 campaign a year ago. In the all-time series, WKU trails UAB 22-9 but is 6-0 against the Blazers since joining Conference USA.
NEXT UP:
Following a light week with just one match, WKU will hit the road on Tuesday to close out non-conference play at Austin Peay before hosting North Texas next Friday evening.
