RALEIGH, N.C. — WKU Track and Field wrapped up its only day of competition at the Raleigh Relays as distance runners Endalow Takele and Katie Lever finished their races Friday evening placing in the top-100 at the Paul Derr Track on the campus of NC State.
Takele, a senior, placed 52nd in the men's 10,000-meter, recording a time of 30:44.15.
Lever finished the women's 5,000-meter in 96th with a time of 18:13.93 in her first race of the outdoor campaign.

Over 100 schools participated in the first day at the Raleigh Relays as 91 miles on the track were completed. Day two starts tomorrow at 10:45 a.m. for the remaining teams and unattached athletes.
The Hilltoppers will hit the track again at the Florida Relays on March 31 and April 1, taking place in Gainesville, Fla., home of the Florida Gators.
