The 2015-16 Lady Toppers finished with a 27-7 overall record and a 15-3 mark in C-USA play despite losing more than 60 percent of their scoring and rebounding from the previous season. WKU matched UTEP for the deepest postseason run among C-USA members as the Lady Toppers reached the quarterfinals of the WNIT, while the 27 wins were the second-most in the conference.
WKU captured a bevy of awards this season, including Kendall Noble's sweep of the C-USA Player and Defensive Player of the Year awards, her Third Team CoSIDA Academic All-America accolades and five C-USA Player of the Week awards as a team, the top mark in the league. The Lady Toppers also defeated a ranked opponent for the first time since 2004 with an upset of No. 16 Louisville in their home opener in November and earned other marquee victories over Middle Tennessee, Old Dominion and the championship at the 2015 GCI Great Alaska Shootout.
