BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- WKU Track & Field head coach Erik Jenkins has announced the program's 2015-16 indoor and outdoor schedules Tuesday afternoon.
WKU opens the indoor season by traveling to nearby Nashville, Tennessee, as the Tops are set to participate in the Vanderbilt Indoor Opener on Saturday, Dec. 5.
The Hilltoppers start off 2016 by making a trip to West Lafayette, Indiana, on Saturday Jan. 9 to participate in the Gene Edmonds Cup hosted by Purdue University.
Another trip to Nashville follows as the Tops are set to partake in the two-day Commodore Invitational on Friday, Jan. 15.
Other notable stops include the Rod McCravy Memorial (Jan. 22-23), Indiana University Relays (Jan. 29-30) and the Meyo Invitational (Feb. 5-6).
Conferences USA's Indoor Championships, hosted by UAB, are set to for Feb. 24-25 in Birmingham, Alabama. The NCAA Indoor Championships are set for March 11-12 also in Birmingham, Alabama.
The 2016 Outdoor Season begins in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, as the Hilltoppers are set to compete in the Alabama Relays on March 18-19.
WKU is once again set to host the Hilltopper Relays at the Charles M. Rueter Track and Field Complex on April 8-9.
Other notable stops include the Black & Gold Invitational (March 25-26), Florida Relays (March 31-April 2), and the Jesse Owens Classic (April 22-23).
Conferences USA's Outdoor Championships, hosted by Middle Tennessee, are set for May 12-15. The NCAA East Preliminary runs from May 26-28 with the NCAA Championships set to begin June 8 and run until June 11.
