- Senior QB Brandon Doughty completed 38 of 54 passes for 387 yards and two touchdowns
- Doughty became the first quarterback in school history with back-to-back 300-yard games
- Doughty owns three of Conference USA's seven 300-yard passing performances in 2014
- Doughty's fourth-quarter rushing touchdown was the first of his career
- Doughty has completed at least 20 passes in six-consecutive games dating back to the end of 2013
- It took Doughty 14 ½ quarters to throw 14 TD passes this season. He threw 14 in 48 quarters of 2013
- Senior WR Willie McNeal caught his 16th TD pass in the second quarter and finished with five catches for 42 yards
- McNeal upped his career reception total to 135, moving him into fourth place in WKU history
- McNeal surpassed the 3,000-yard all-purpose mark for his career with a 152-yard all-purpose performance
- McNeal has at least one catch in 24-straight games and at least four catches in nine-straight games
- Junior defensive back Wonderful Terry sealed WKU's win with a 43-yard interception return for a touchdown
