BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - WKU Track and Field's Katie Lever received the Outreach-Service Award Monday night at the annual WKU Athletics academic awards banquet, hosted at the President's House on campus.
Lever earned the Outreach-Service Award for exemplifying sportsmanship and character and being actively involved in the community.
Seven track and field student-athletes were inducted into the Chi Alpha Sigma honor society for holding cumulative GPAs of 3.4 or better, including All-Sun Belt Conference performers Cyrus Johnson and Lindsey Hinken. Lucas Atherton, Eric Marr, Baylee Shofner, Lynsey Mliburn and Anna Schreiner were also inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma.
