MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- WKU maintained its position on Tuesday's final round of the Memphis Intercollegiate, finishing with a 301 team score on the day to close out the tournament in eighth place.
The tournament was held at the par-72 Colonial Country Club's Championship Tees.
As a team, the Hilltoppers tallied a 906 (307-298-301) to finish just 10 strokes out of a top five finish in the 15-team field.
Individually, WKU was led by Conor Griffiths who finished in a tie for ninth place, carding a five-over 221 (76-71-74) while Cameron Beal shot a seven-over 79 on the day to bring his total to an eight-over 224 (73-72-79), good enough for an 18th place finish.
Brandon Beckham finished tied for 36th, shooting a 13-over 229 (78-77-74) and Trey Aguirre tied for 59th with a 20-over 236 (84-78-74). Nate Johnson closed out the card with a 27-over 243 (80-84-79) to finish tied for 72nd.
The host Tigers took the team title, tallying an 874 while Louisiana-Lafayette's Haraldur Magnus won the individual crown with a one-under 215 (75-70-70).
Next up for WKU is the Mason Rudolph Invitational, hosted by Vanderbilt, April 5-6 in Nashville.
