- WKU falls to 4-2 on the season while fourth-ranked Louisville improved to 7-0.
- WKU continues to lead the all-time series. It now stands at 24-18 in favor of WKU.
- The Lady Toppers return to action on Sunday, Dec. 1 when WKU hosts Morehead State at 2:00 p.m. CT.
- WKU recovered from a 16-point deficit to cut the Louisville lead to three at 33-30, 35-32, 37-34 and 39-36.

- Trailing 22-8 following a Louisville basket with 12:04 remaining in the first half, WKU went on a 9-0 run to cut the score to 22-17 with 9:27 left following a McGee basket. It was the sixth run of 8-0 or better of the season for WKU.
- Junior Chastity Gooch had 21 points and seven rebounds to lead WKU. She added two steals and a block while shooting 7-of-8 from the free throw line.
- Junior Alexis Govan had 14 points and had a career high six steals.
- Govan has scored in double figures in 42 consecutive games, the fourth longest WKU streak since the start of the 2000-01 season. It was the 45th career game scoring in double figures of Govan's career.
- Govan has started 47 consecutive games, the longest active streak on the team. She started the final nine games of the 2011-12 season and every game of the 2012-13 season. She has 56 career starts to her credit.
- Sophomore guard Micah Jones had six points, hitting two three-point field goals in the game.
- Jones has hit a three-point field goal in every game this season and multiple three-point field goals in five of six games this season.
