"The staff at WKU should be commended for their hard work, proactive approach and know-how in getting this system installed," said XOS Digital Instant Replay Marketing Specialist Randall Malone. "What they were able to do became a blueprint for the conference to get systems up and running league wide."
The Sun Belt Conference's transition from standard definition to the XOS HD Replay system for football will provide a higher video quality to support efficiency in the officials' review process. XOS Digital developed the system using the core multi-channel technology found within its Hurricane slow-motion instant replay system, which college teams use for in-venue live production.
XOS HD Replay features an integrated paging system for on-field communication, production-quality video cards, and automated video and data export capabilities from the system to media delivery platforms. For the Sun Belt Conference, the system's multiple HD channels will provide officials with direct access to multiple camera angles. Overall, it provides for five HD channels of record and playback.
