Hello Hilltopper Fans !
My name is Casey Clark and I am a sophomore here on the hill. I am an infielder from a vastly growing city in Alabama called Prattville. Business management is my major and I absolutely love it here at Western. But let's talk softball!
The team has been working extremely hard during practice the last couple of weeks whether we are outside on the field or in our indoor facility due to the weather. Not only are we giving 100 % effort during practice but in weights and conditioning as well. We believe that this will be a season to remember and we know we have to put everything into it not only physically but mentally as well. We do a lot of mental training to make sure we stay focused as well as giving us confidence.
Coming up Thursday, February 10th, we are heading out to the West Coast and going to Santa Barbara, California. On Friday, the 11th, we will compete against UC Santa Barbara and Seattle. We also play UC Santa Barbara and Seattle the following day, and on Sunday we play Wichita State. We are so ready to play and can't wait to see how all our hard work has paid off.
