The WKU baseball team and the athletic department staff were active in the Bowling Green community in the month of December as a part of Hilltoppers With Heart, WKU Athletics' official community service program.
Baseball
The Hilltopper baseball team served meals at the Salvation Army in mid-December. The players assisted by washing dishes, serving food and drinks to clients, waiting tables, cleaning the soup kitchen after lunch, making food boxes for the needing and providing good company for those people eating.
Athletic Department Staff
The WKU Athletics staff and coaches collected new toys during the week before Christmas for the Marine Corps Reserve Toys For Tots Foundation. Two large boxes were filled with toys to be donated to children at the holidays.
