Bowling Green, Ky. -- Tiffany Elmore is the only returning member of the WKU Lady Topper volleyball team who was named to the All-Sun Belt Conference team in 2009. Elmore earned second-team honors after leading WKU regulars with a .331 hitting percentage in 114 sets played.
Elmore recorded 92 blocks, ranking second on the team, while tallying 265 kills, good for the fourth-best total among Lady Toppers. She also ranked fourth on the team in solo blocks, posting 20 on the year.
The North Vernon, Ind., native had a career-high 18 kills against IUPUI, while boasting a .500 hitting percentage in that match. Elmore recorded double-digit kills in 10 different matches in 2009, including eight matches with a .500 or better hitting percentage.
Each weekday for the next two weeks, WKUSports.com will be highlighting a different member of the 2010 WKU Lady Topper volleyball team as they prepare to open the regular season on August 27 at Purdue. The Lady Toppers finished the 2009 season with a 25-9 overall record and a second-place finish in the Sun Belt Eastern Division.

Q: What is your favorite activity outside your current sport?
A: Watching truck and tractor pulls.
Q: What is your favorite food?
A: I love mashed potatoes with white gravy.
Q: What is your favorite spring break destination?
A: Visiting my aunt at her house in Florida.
Q: What was your favorite cartoon character when you were a child?
A: Pochahontas- I had all kinds of merchandise with her on it.
Q: What is your favorite TV show?
A: Say Yes to the Dress is my favorite because I love looking at all the gorgeous dresses.
Q: If you could have dinner with any person in history, who would it be
and why?
A: Jason Aldean, because I think he is a gorgeous man!
Q: If you could have dinner with any person no longer living, who would it be and why?
A: My mom's parents. They both passed away when I was young or before I was born so I would love to sit and walk with them.
Q: What are your plans after your playing days are over here at WKU?
A: I plan to return back home (North Vernon, Ind.) and become a counselor. I would love to be a guidance counselor.
Q: What is your proudest moment in sports?
A: My proudest moment in sports is teaching my sister and nieces/nephews about sports and skills for them.
Q: Who is your all-time favorite sports personality?
A: Dick Vitale. I have met him in person and he is a very nice man. Plus he is fun to listen to on T.V.
Q: Other than WKU, who is your favorite team?
A: The Indianapolis Colts because I am from Indiana and they are the state team.
Q: Who is your favorite singer or music group?
A: Jason Aldean, the country music singer.
Q: What is the best movie you have ever seen?
A: My favorite movie is the Notebook.
Q: Who is the most influential person in your life and why?
A: My mother because she has raise four children and accomplished and over a lot all while keeping her head high.
