BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — The WKU baseball program will be holding a showcase for high school players on Sunday, September 5 at Nick Denes Field and Bowling Green High School.
The camp begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 6:00 PM, and the cost is $150.00. The WKU Labor Day Showcase is designed to provide players in grades 9-12 the opportunity to be instructed by and play in front of the Western Kentucky University baseball coaching staff.
Players will have to opportunity expand their baseball skills and benefit from a combination of skill instruction, college level drills, and competitive games. This camp is specifically designed for players looking to continue playing at the next levels of the game.
On Sunday morning, players will go through a pro-style workout and will receive hitting and pitching instruction. The afternoon will consist of batting practice at newly-renovated Nick Denes Field and Bowling Green High School, as well as competitive games.
