Chad Adcock, Sr., Eddyville, Ky.
Chad Adcock appeared in three games for the Hilltoppers during the 2008 season. The right-handed sidearm pitcher threw 1.1 innings of relief allowing four hits and seven runs. During 2007, the Eddyville, Ky., native appeared in 11 games and recorded a 1-1 record.
1. What is your favorite activity outside baseball?
I like to play golf.
2. What is your favorite food?
My favorite food is anything with rice.
3. What books have you read lately?
To be honest, I'm more of a magazine guy.
4. What is your favorite spring break destination?
I've never been on spring break cause of baseball.
5. What was your favorite cartoon character when you were a child? Do you have one now?
My favorite cartoon character was Doug Funnie.
6. What is your favorite TV show?
My favorite TV show would have to be Mad Men.
7. If you could have dinner with any person in history, who would it be and why?
I would like to meet the first person to have a mustache; to me that person is the epitome of cool. Unless its a woman, then I'll just take my dinner home.
8. Have you traveled anywhere outside the U.S.?
I've never been outside of the U.S.
9. What are your plans after your playing days are over at WKU?
I plan on getting a job at an advertising agency after I graduate.
10. What is your proudest moment in sports?
My proudest moment in sports was watching my sister play.
11. Who is your all-time favorite sports personality?
My favorite sports personality hands down would have to be Muhammad Ali.
12. What team do you currently root for?
I 'm a fan of the New York Yankees.
13. Who is your favorite singer or music group?
My favorite musician is Webby my roommate; he's my personal juke box.
14. What is the best movie you have ever seen?
The best movie I've ever seen is The Pianist.
15. Who is the most influential person in your life and why?
That would have to be my late grandfather; I'm still learning things from his life. That man worked hard for everything he got until he passed away. I have the most respect for him.
