WKU NAMES BRAD FIELDS DIRECTOR OF ATHLETIC MEDIA RELATIONS
“Brad will be an outstanding addition to our athletic department, and we are excited to have him return to his native state as a Hilltopper,” Selig said. “He has managed a successful staff while also having the experience of overseeing multiple sports on a day-to-day basis. His numerous accolades from CoSIDA and recognition from his conference is a great indication of the respect he has in the eyes of his peers.”
At USC-Aiken, Fields oversaw the publicity and game management of 11 intercollegiate sports. He has been honored 14 times for excellence in publications by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), including 12 national awards highlighted by a “Best in Nation” and “Best Cover” for his 2005-06 golf media guide. In September 2007, Fields received his third-straight CoSIDA writing award for coverage of the USCA golf team.

A two-time Peach Belt Conference SID of the Year (2003-04 and 2005-06), Fields initiated numerous innovations to USCA including live stats, live video web streaming, and podcasting.
“Brad has done an outstanding job for Pacer Athletics, and we’ll miss him greatly,” said USC-Aiken Director of Athletics Randy Warrick. “I credit Brad with advancing our programs through quality publications, marketing, and his incredible work ethic. Although we hate to see him go, we wish him the absolute best in this next step of what I predict will be a very successful career in athletics.”
