WKU Cheerleader Featured on SI.com This Week

Bowling Green, Ky. — Nikki Diaz, a freshman cheerleader at Western Kentucky University, is garnering national attention normally associated with Hilltopper and Lady Topper student-athletes as the featured “Cheerleader of the Week” on Sports Illustrated’s web site.

To view a photo gallery and 20 questions with Diaz, a native of Murfreesboro, Tenn., individuals need to visit the magazine’s site, SI.com and click on the “On Campus” button.

Diaz is the only cheerleader from a Sun Belt Conference school to be featured this year, and she is the only freshman to be recognized.
