Tickets for the game between the Lady Toppers and either Minnesota or Illinois-Chicago will go on sale at 8 a.m. on Wednesday (March 14). Ticket prices have been set at $11 for red towel seat, $8 for reserved chairback and $6 for children ages 3-12. The first 200 WKU students will get into the game for free, with remaining students being admitted to the game for $4. Suite holders can also purchase tickets for $11.
Fans can purchase tickets online at www.wkusports.com, by phone at 1-800-5-BIG RED, or at the WKU ticket kiosks at the Greenwood Mall in Bowling Green, Crossroads IGA in Rockfield or Houchens Market in Glasgow. Season ticket holders have until noon on Friday to reserve their same seats from the regular season.
Due to the KHSAA Girls Sweet Sixteen at Diddle Arena this week, the WKU ticket office will also be selling tickets at the window outside the arena’s U.S. Bank entrance (off University Blvd.) from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. on Wednesday, and 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday. The Diddle Arena ticket office will also be open from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday and 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on Monday. All valid women’s basketball parking passes will be honored for WNIT games, with general admission parking costing $5.
The Lady Toppers enter the WNIT with a 20-8 record. Last season, WKU advanced to the tournament semifinals before falling in overtime to eventual champion Kansas State.
