Robby Shaw carded an even-par 72 on the 7,125-yard Firestone Country Club to finish in a tie for third.
Brent Long shot a three-day total of 225 to finish in a tie for 23rd. Matt Sherertz and Nate Fenlon each ended their third rounds at two-over-par 74 with Sherertz finishing his 54 holes at 234 and Fenlon carding a 245. Nick Johnston shot a three-round score of 231.
Ball State won the team title at 854 strokes — 14 shots ahead of second place Eastern Kentucky. Ball State’s Patrick Wilkes-Krier won the individual title by seven strokes while carding three rounds of scores under 70.
The Hilltoppers will wait for May 8 to find its destination to the NCAA Regionals.
