Logsdon was key in helping the Lady Toppers earn a share of the Sun Belt East Division championship with her play last weekend. After finishing with 15 points Thursday in WKU's 79-71 win over Middle Tennessee, Logsdon dropped in a season-high 28 points at Florida International Saturday night. She finished the night 7-of-16 from the field against FIU, but did most of her damage at the free throw line where she was a perfect 12-of-12 on the night. That tied the second best night at the free throw line in Lady Topper history, just one shy of the school record of 13-for-13.
Logsdon also pulled down seven rebounds, dished out four assists and picked up five steals against the Golden Panthers. For the week, she averaged 21.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 3.5 steals per game.
Western will be the No. 3 seed in the 2004 Aeropostale Sun Belt Conference Tournament. The Lady Toppers open tournament play on Sunday (March 7) against Louisiana-Lafayette at 1:30 p.m. (CST) in E.A. Diddle Arena.
