Savannah Savage is the Director of TopCare, providing mental health counseling and psychological support for WKU student-athletes. She works collaboratively with student-athletes and athletics staff to promote mental health, well-being, personal development and success both on and off the field.
Savage has experience providing clinical services in behavioral health settings with adolescents and adults. Her clinical experience includes working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, emotion regulation difficulties, self-esteem concerns, life transitions and other mental health concerns.
She has also developed and facilitated mental health and psychoeducational programming focused on topics such as resilience, coping skills, emotional regulation, communication, boundaries and performance-related concerns. Her professional interests include the intersection of mental health, well-being and performance.
Savage graduated from Covenant College in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. In 2025, she graduated from WKU with a master’s degree in clinical psychology, and she is pursuing her doctoral degree in psychology while in her current role at WKU.
Savage is originally from Murfreesboro, Tennessee. She previously competed as an NCAA Division III volleyball player, an experience that continues to shape her appreciation for teamwork, resilience and personal growth. Savannah credits her supportive parents, friends and family for playing an important role in her personal and professional journey.
