Nate Yost joined the WKU Athletic Training Staff in the summer of 2025 as the Head Athletic Trainer for the Hilltopper football team after previously serving as the Assistant Athletic Trainer for Ole Miss football. During his time at Ole Miss, Yost also worked with the Men’s Tennis, Cheerleading, Women’s Soccer, and Baseball teams. Prior to his career at Ole Miss, Yost spent two years as the Head Athletic Trainer at Navarro College overseeing six NJCAA sports (Football, Women’s Soccer, Volleyball, Men’s Basketball, Baseball and Softball) and a NCA competitive cheer program in Corsicana, Texas.
Yost earned his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training degree from Valdosta State University in 2013. While completing his Bachelor degree, he completed an internship with the University of Mississippi working with the Football and Track and Field teams. He then earned his Master of Education for Student Development and Leadership from Angelo State University located in San Angelo, Texas. While there he served as a Graduate Assistant covering the Men’s and Women’s Cross Country, Track and Field, and Football teams.
Yost is a Certified Athletic Trainer through the Board of Certification and a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association. He is Graston Certified through the Graston Technique, LLC.
Yost is a native of Moultrie, Georgia and resides in Bowling Green with his wife Courtney and their sons, William and Daniel.
