Lillie-Anne Mulligan joined the WKU staff in the fall of 2019 and currently serves as the Director of Athletic Communications/Media Relations.
Mulligan originally joined the WKU staff as an Assistant Director of Athletic Communications/Media Relations. In March of 2022, Mulligan was promoted to Associate Director of Athletic Communications/Media Relations, and in September 2025, she was promoted to Director of Athletic Communications/Media Relations.
In this role, Mulligan works as the primary media contact for the Lady Topper basketball program along with men's and women's golf. She also oversees the student intern program within the office that has successfully guided students to full-time roles upon graduation with WKU, SIU Edwardsville, Belmont, Campbellsville, Carolina Hurricanes, Nashville Sports Co., Golf House KY and Lindsey Wilson.
Mulligan was previously the media contact for WKU Soccer (2019-24).
Prior to joining WKU, Mulligan was part of the Florida Atlantic University Athletic Communications staff for two years (2017-19) working with women’s basketball, men’s soccer, cross country and track and field, swimming and diving, and men’s and women’s golf.
Mulligan served a one-year internship with Syracuse University Athletic Communications during the 2016-17 season as a primary media contact for women’s soccer, women’s ice hockey and women’s tennis and a secondary contact for football, women’s basketball and men’s lacrosse.
A 2014 graduate of WKU, Mulligan earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise science and completed a master’s in recreation and sports administration from WKU in 2016. She worked as a student assistant with the WKU athletic communications/media relations office from 2013-16.
Mulligan is a native of Madisonville, Kentucky, and currently resides in Bowling Green.
