Justin Brown joined the WKU Football staff in March of 2022 as the Director of Player Engagement. The 2025 season will mark his fourth season with the Hilltoppers.
Prior to his arrival in Bowling Green, Brown served as the Wide Receivers Coach and Co-Special Teams Coordinator at Bethel University, a position he held starting in 2019. While at Bethel, he mentored NAIA All-American kick returner J’Kobi Reddick and MSC All-Conference wide receivers James Dixon and Caleb Roebuck. Before that, Brown was a Graduate Assistant at Arkansas Tech University. During the 2017 and 2018 seasons, he coached the running backs group while guiding Braden Springer and Bryan Allen to All-Conference honors. In 2015 and 2016, Brown coached the halfbacks and tight ends, including All-American halfback Chris Eastburn.
Prior to Arkansas Tech, Brown began his coaching career at Athens High School in 2012, where he was the Wide Receivers Coach for three years while also assisting in the coordination of the team’s passing game.
Brown played college football at the University of North Alabama, Butte College, and Miles College as a wide receiver. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from Athens University in 2013, before completing his master’s in Teaching from Arkansas Tech University in 2018.
