JR Mizerak joined WKU as a Graduate Assistant for Marketing & Fan Experience in July 2025.
In his current role, Mizerak is the lead for Marketing & Fan Experience for the WKU Soccer and Softball programs, while serving as the secondary for the WKU Football and Men's Basketball programs. He is responsible for developing marking plans and executing promotional activations. He has led the development of Hilltopper Highlights – premium fan experiences – and led the marketing efforts surrounding the 100 Miles of Hope Blood Drive, as well as led the management of the Big Red Rewards App.
Mizerak is a 2025 graduate of West Virginia University, where he earned a degree in Sport Management. While there, he worked as a Marketing Student Intern from 2022-24 and a Marketing Student Assistant from 2024-25. He served as the lead intern for Men’s Soccer (2023), Women’s Soccer (2024), Gymnastics (2024 and 2025), Baseball (2024), Football (2024), Men’s Basketball (2024-2025), and he was the primary contact for Women's Tennis in the 2024-25 season. Mizerak served as the Executive Director of the Mountaineer Maniacs from 2024-25, and also assisted with the Kids Club at WVU.
Mizerak is a native of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.
