WKU men's golf head coach Chan Metts announced the addition of former Hilltopper golfer John Mullendore as a volunteer assistant coach on February 8, 2020. Mullendore is currently the Head Pro at Indian Hills Country Club and is a Class A PGA Professional.
A native of Bowling Green, Mullendore has been a long-time golfer. While at Bowling Green High school, he was a member of the 1996 and 1997 KHSAA State Golf Championship Team and he won the Boys High School 4th Region tournament in his senior year (1997). From 1998 to 2003, Mullendore played in 42 college tournaments for WKU and was named to the 2003 All-Sunbelt Conference Golf Team.
